Principal Electrical Engineer

Requisition

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and medium/low voltage power distribution systems, switch gear, and motor control centers.
• Develop schematic and wiring diagrams; prepare specifications for equipment and systems.
• Prepare reports, determine code requirements, and perform and review design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas as necessary.
• Manage design budgets and schedules.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment and coordinate information with vendors.
• Conduct project field site visits.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Self‑motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
• Design experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure
