Join our team as a Production Engineering Co-Op
- Machine Maintenance! This offers hands-on experience in the Maintenance department, where you'll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into Maintenance performance. You'll collaborate with the Maintenance Engineering team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Analyze equipment failure history and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Develop SAP-based dashboards to track key maintenance KPIs and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Create, update, and standardize maintenance procedures, work instructions, and process documentation to support ISO certification requirements.
- Assist maintenance technicians with equipment drawings, troubleshooting guides, and visual work instructions to improve problem-solving and prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Play a key role in the annual plant-wide summer shutdown, working alongside engineers, contractors, and maintenance professionals to execute major equipment overhauls and capital projects
What We're Looking For:
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related post-secondary program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP, Power BI, AutoCAD, or Microsoft Power Apps is considered an asset.
- Availability to be onsite full-time at our Muscatine, IA location for a co-op assignment for one of the following durations:
Spring
- Summer, Summer only, or Summer & Fall.
