Our Services for People with Disabilities team is searching for a dedicated, experienced leader to work full‑time as a Service Coordinator to oversee and supervise Harmony House, a 24‑hour site‑based services location in Muscatine. Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one‑on‑one care through our hourly supported community living (SCL) program.

The Service Coordinator will oversee and supervise a 24‑hour site‑based services at Harmony House. Coordinator is responsible for ensuring services delivered provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas that facilitate personal growth and independence. The Coordinator hires, trains, and supervises Program Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals. The Coordinator will have ownership and oversight of budgeting requirements and operations of Harmony House, including budget compliance, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation agencies to maintain the overall viability of Harmony House.

Position may require long hours, including some evenings and weekends, to ensure the safety and satisfaction of individuals served. This position will be included in an on‑call rotation to provide appropriate program oversight, which may limit ability to travel outside a geographic area during those times.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in health or human service‑related field or education, as well as three years of experience in human services (disabilities or mental health preferred) plus two years of supervisory experience. CMA, CAN, LPN or RN credentials and/or experience preferred, but not required. Candidates must obtain CMA certification within six months of hire.
