Overview
Join HNI Workplace Furnishings as an Accounting Inventory Control Coordinator within the Operations team. In this role, you will support inventory management by resolving receiving, supplier, and invoicing discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy and smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities- Monitor and resolve ASN/receipt failures across locations, partnering with suppliers, buyers, receiving teams, and IT.
- Support identification of recurring errors and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support the SCAR process by maintaining inventory transactions and financial accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on disposition and follow up on credit recovery.
- Assist with resolving receiving discrepancies in collaboration with receiving teams and buyers.
- Review and follow up on aged ASNs to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem‑solving ability with sound judgment and a collaborative mindset.
- Team orientation and strong partnership skills.
- Proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft Office, and business systems.
