Primary Purpose
To build and maintain dies, fixtures, and special machines for Musco Manufacturing facilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Be able to program & operate CAD/CAM software systems along with other lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Read blue prints
- Operate & read measuring equipment such as Micrometers, optical comparators, thread & plug gages to make sure parts produced are to print
- Maintain blank dies
- Maintain & repair machines as needed keep production equipment in good running condition
- Make recommendations for ordering the correct tooling & stock needed to produce parts in a timely manor
- Set up & repair other machinery throughout
