Advanced Maintenance Technician

HNI Corporation seeks an Advanced Maintenance Technician to support 1st and 2nd shift operations in our manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and minimize downtime to keep lines running safely and efficiently. You'll partner closely with production teams, follow strict safety and LOTO procedures, document work in CMMS, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
• Support 1st and 2nd shift operations and respond quickly to equipment issues
• Use CMMS to document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Follow all safety, LOTO, and OSHA procedures and promote a safe workplace
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeovers
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions
