Position: Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time)
* A part-time clinical nursing instructor must fulfill the following job functions:

* Collaborate with nursing course leader and other nursing faculty to maintain current knowledge of the Nursing Education Program, including, but not limited to the Philosophy, Organizing Framework, End-of-program student learning outcomes and course/clinical objectives/outcomes.

* Professionally fulfill the role of part-time clinical nursing instructor in clinical affiliates and in on-campus laboratory/simulation, including planning for clinical experiences, developing patient assignments, and supervising, instructing and evaluating students.

* Comply with contractual requirements of clinical affiliates utilized for assigned nursing course clinical laboratories.

* Collaborate with other nurse faculty to maintain the continuity of the curriculum.

* Promote effective working relationships among course faculty.

* Resolve or refer student requests or problems related to course activities.

* Maintain licensure as a registered nurse in good standing in the State of Alabama, including compliance with mandatory continuing education requirements.

* Maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the health care provider level.

* Maintain required vaccinations.

Marginal Functions

* Assist in the routine operation of the Program as requested.

* Assist in the collection of data for the Systematic Plan of Evaluation as requested.

* Participate in professional activities.

* Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

* MSN preferred, BSN required

* 3 years of clinical nursing experience required

* Current licensure as a registered nurse in good standing in the State of Alabama.

* Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the health care provider level.

* Current vaccinations.
