Leadership Training Instructor; Part-Time

Position: Leadership Training Instructor (Part-Time)
* Plan, organize, instruct, and supervise students in classroom and other settings as assigned.

* Conduct class evaluations and complete other college evaluations in accordance with college policy.

* Prepare Course syllabi and learning outcomes in conjunction with departmental guidelines.

* Participate in the selection of texts and teaching materials.

* Maintain classroom, equipment, supplies, and learning environments.

* Assess competencies of students in an organized and documented manner.

* Assist in the development, evaluation, and revision of program curricula to insure maximum student competency.

* Assist students in attaining industry certifications.

* Collect, maintain, and submit performance data for reporting purposes.

* Maintain records on grades and attendance.

* Assist in registering students for course.

* Cater to the individual needs of students.

* Must comply with all policies of the Alabama Community college System Board of Trustees, the Alabama Community College System, and Northwest Shoals Community College.

* Maintain currency of professional knowledge, skills, and required licensures through professional development and continuing education.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Minium of five years of supervisor experience, required.

* Teaching experience, preferred.

* Associate degree, preferred.

Hourly Rate:  $50.00 (19 hours or less per week with NO BENEFITS)
