Senior Analyst- SAP & Power BI

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will play an integral role on the finance team, working through complex issues, transactions, and projects independently and collaborating with other finance and cross-functional team members. The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of our organization, international team members, and external.

• Sales revenue and customer analysis, including forecast and budget, identifying reporting issues and suggesting improvements, maintaining internal controls.
• Works with sales team to track and forecast sales volume and revenue.
• Submits constrained and unconstrained sales forecast to business unit.
• Generates monthly sales actual report and revenue journal entries.
• Analysis of freight and other revenue passthroughs (PPI, magnesium, etc.).
• Responsible for month‑end cut‑off procedures in compliance with IFRS 15.
• Assists with monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and long‑term strategic planning regarding revenue.
• Prepares monthly customer reconciliations.
• Other ad‑hoc financial and sales analysis.
• Interacts with internal and external auditors as necessary.
• Serves as link between Sales team and Finance team.
• Other duties as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong focus on Excel; experience with SAP or a similar ERP system in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) helpful.
• Demonstrates results orientation, accountability, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, project and change management, and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Effective written and oral communication skills sufficient to communicate with all levels of the organization, high level of autonomy with ability to work collaboratively and good interpersonal skills.
• Able to perform, understand and communicate detailed information analysis and evaluation.
• Ability to work in cross‑organizational and multi‑functional teams in a global matrix environment with manufacturing operations and an international mindset.

Constellium Muscle Shoals is an aluminum manufacturing plant based in Alabama with over 1,200 employees. With its widest strip mill in the USA and a world‑class recycling center, the site represents one of the largest within Constellium and is a world‑class can recycling center, with the capacity to recycle nearly 20 billion cans per year. Muscle Shoals’ main product is aluminum can sheet for the packaging industry, particularly for beverage containers.

It manufactures sheet used in all three components of an aluminum can, namely body stock, coated end stock and tab stock. Additionally, Muscle Shoals supplies Auto Body Sheet substrate to Constellium’s Bowling Green, Kentucky, site.
