Our Emergency Services unit specializes in providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Patients may include:
Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan‑of‑care intervention and serving as a patient‑care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Document patient care provided. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred; must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Two‑three years of experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
