Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical – PRN Days

Support patients on a PRN day shift at North Alabama Shoals Hospital in a medical-surgical setting. Provide comprehensive patient care, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided with timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family, and performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle With Care preferred.
