Construction Scheduler – Asphalt Seal coating & Striping
Our company is currently seeking an experienced, strong performer with the ability to work well with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, inventive, enthusiastic and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Being a part of the scheduling team, you will be handling a wide range of paperwork, typing duties, and phone calls with an aptitude to work independently or with little supervision while communicating with fellow employees who are working out in the field.
Summary/ObjectiveThe Seal coating & Striping scheduler will perform route planning for up to 7 crews, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.
Scheduling Duties- Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.
- Work closely with the Vice President & Field Supervisor to monitor the day's job and plan for future schedules.
- Monitor the weather closely and make decisions on holds, rain dates, and re-scheduling.
- Process paperwork for scheduling department and production crews.
- Assist office personnel as necessary.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
- Back-up scheduler for sealcoat division.
- Work with other employees to maintain an environment of cooperation and teamwork to complete all tasks.

This job operates in a business casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Experience & Requirements- Knowledge of field construction operations.
- Knowledgeable in bidding, building jobs, and negotiating.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels and able to quickly resolve conflict.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Motivated & Self-Directed.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. CDL is preferred.
