Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in industrial and commercial buildings
- Install conduit and piping to safely house electrical wiring and cables
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, including NEC standards
- Install, connect, and maintain circuit breakers, panels, and related electrical hardware
- Connect electrical systems to power sources and verify proper functionality
- Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements
- Replace wiring, conduit, and circuit breakers as needed
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship
- Valid electrician's license required
- Five or more years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
- Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
