Position: 3PL / Nationwide Logistics Coordinator

Description

The 3PL Logistics Coordinator works under limited supervision and is responsible for coordinating project management and communicating activity and scheduling requirements to ensure on-time delivery commitments are met when partnering with owned nationwide facilities or strategic partner locations. This role will include booking of various modes of transportation and warehouse solutions. The role will be responsible for understanding and monitoring pricing characteristics for all domestic modes of transportation, warehousing pricing and service agreements.

The role supports business development and management addressing 3PL logistics customer requests, complaints, damage, claims and invoicing discrepancies. The duties also include auditing project activities and reconciling all 3PL partner invoices to ensure accurate and timely processing for payment.

Requirements
  • Education:
  • • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • • Some college experience preferred.
  • Experience:
  • • 2-3 years of relevant logistics and transportation experience
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment working together towards a common goal.
  • • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Sage 100,  and Mover’s Suite preferred.
  • • Ability to analyze and track data trends, present, and provide recommendations.
  • • Personal accountability with a customer-focused sense of urgency.
  • • Good interpersonal and communication skills; possess good phone and email etiquette.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • • Good organizational skills, ability to multitask; demonstrate flexibility.
  • • Ability to stand, sit, bend, pivot, and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.
  • • Willing to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
