Job Overview
Business Office Coordinator (BOC) is a medical front desk receptionist role. The position supports clerical, administrative, and secretarial functions for a very busy medical office.
Employment Type:
Full time.
Shift: Day shift.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (variable upon office).
- Check in and check out patients.
- Answer multiple phone lines.
- Schedule appointments.
- Manage referrals.
- Verify insurance.
- Perform other clerical functions.
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Education and/or training as a medical secretary, receptionist, or medical assistant is preferred.
- Associate’s degree in a medical-related concentration is preferred.
- Day 1 benefits, no waiting period. Comprehensive packages including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 403(b). Must work 20 hours per week to be eligible.
