Purchasing Manager

Machine Ethics is growing, and we're looking for a highly organized, proactive Purchasing Manager to own our parts procurement, inventory systems, and fleet operations. If you love building processes, solving problems, and keeping operations moving smoothly, this role is for you.

• Source machine parts quickly and cost‑effectively across multiple vendors
• Deliver accurate ETAs and clear communication to technicians, customers, and internal teams
• Manage inventory, validate costs, coordinate parts for scheduled jobs
• Oversee tool crib supplies, onboarding equipment, and stocking vendor relationships
• Manage fleet operations: maintenance scheduling, tracking, vendor coordination, documentation
• Support accounts payable with accurate invoices, allocations, and part/fleet cost tracking
• Oversee activities on the shop floor and condition of the work spaces
• Improve processes, reduce delays, and support a smooth operational workflow

• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Analytical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Clear, courteous communication with customers, vendors, and team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt under pressure, and follow through
• Experience in procurement, inventory, or fleet management (preferred but not required)
• A mindset for continuous improvement and building scalable systems
