Position: State & Federal Grants Specialist

Reports to: Director of Curriculum & Instruction

• Associate’s Degree or higher including related college coursework

• Previous experience working with grants
• Familiar with Nex Sys, MEGS+, GEMS/MARS, other grant applications as well as other MDE platforms.
• Experience in MUNIS accounting system

• Demonstrates ability to interact positively with various groups, individuals, and community agencies as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Direct knowledge of and experience with local, state, and federal grant applications, management, and reporting requirements.
• Experience with electronic grants and data submission systems.
• Excellent skills in Excel & Google Sheets, including developing worksheets with complex formulas and cross-referencing multiple spreadsheets.
• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google Products, including formatting, spreadsheets, and table creation.
• Strong mathematical and budgeting skills.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefits package. Salary Range $44,124- $69,097.
