Responsibilities include:
Demonstrating strong knowledge of English Language Arts content and effective instructional practices.
Designing rigorous, engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences that promote critical thinking, communication, and authentic application of learning.
Creating a classroom culture that fosters curiosity, student voice, collaboration, and meaningful discussion.
Using formative assessment and timely feedback to build student understanding and ownership of learning.
Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners while maintaining high expectations for all students.
Building strong relationships with students and creating an inclusive environment where every learner feels valued, challenged, and supported.
Helping students develop empathy, self-awareness, literacy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through authentic reading, writing, speaking, and inquiry.
Maintaining effective classroom management and maximizing instructional time to ensure high levels of student engagement.
Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen instructional practices and improve student learning.
Reflecting on instructional practice and embracing continuous growth as an educator.
