Position: Secondary Special Education Teacher – Resource Room
Location: Muskegon High School
Classification: MCTEA
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE
- Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE
- Preferred:
Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district;
Learning Disabilities (SM), Cognitive Impairment (SA) endorsement
Responsibilities: Refer to attached job description
Salary/Benefits: Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full‑time with benefit package. Starting range $51,814-$75,437.00.
