CTE Instructor – Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing (2026/2027)

This position is a part of our Innovation Academy program for the 2026/2027 academic year.

• Possession of a valid Michigan Department of Education Annual Career Authorization in CIP area (15.0000) or the ability to obtain, which requires 4,000 hours of paid, recent, and relevant work experience in the related field (within the last 10 years) and appropriate licensure if applicable.
• All prospective hires must provide fingerprinting and background check results to the District prior to employment in accordance with State of Michigan Student Safety Legislation.

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant vocational specialty area.
• Valid Michigan Teacher Certification with CTE – Engineering Technologies/Technicians (15.0000).

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package.

This position is supported either partially or fully through grant funding. Continued employment in this role is contingent upon the availability of such funding. If the grant funding is reduced, discontinued, or eliminated, the position may be reduced or eliminated accordingly.
