Position Available: 2026/2027 Academic Year
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.
- Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.
- Learning Disabilities (SM), Cognitive Impairment (SA) endorsement

- Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package. Starting range $51,814-$75,437.00.
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance coverage offered.
- Eligible for Michigan ORS retirement plan for public school employees.
- Paid time off includes ten (10) sick leave days, three (3) personal days, and two (2) professional improvement days.
