Requirements
:

Associate’s degree or min of 60 college credits

Experience in working with at-risk youth in an urban, multicultural community

Experience with customer service or interpersonal services

Criminal History background check

Pre-employment physical may be required

Preferred
:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or human services

Multiple years of experience working with at-risk students in a school setting

Qualifications
:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Extensive training/experience in relevant youth work.
• Demonstrated soft skills as an employee:
• –Positive reviews of past performance
• –Positive and respectful attitude and conduct toward all people
• Availability to work outside of the school day.
• Ability to use technology as it applies to the performance of duties.

Salary/Benefits
:
Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full time 40 hours/week. Salary range: $41,383.00-$61,428.
