TERMSThis position is a 191 total paid days position offering full family medical, dental, and vision benefits. Dental, vision, and life insurance are paid by the district at no cost to the employee. Personal business days, holidays, and sick time paid. Retirement through the Office of Retirement Services (Pension Plus or Defined Contribution).
SALARY RANGEThis position is on the hourly, nonunion, Grade H, $ per hour.
GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONCareer Tech Center Allied Health Technician works in conjunction with the Allied Health classroom instructor(s) to provide a range of assistive functions within the secondary learning environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDiagnostic Services, Therapeutic Services, Health Informatics, Support Services, and Biotechnology Research and Development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Certain technician positions require passing a MAISD-paid physical examination and/or back x-ray, before an unconditional offer of employment can be made.
TYPICAL WORK ENVIRONMENTMost work is performed in a classroom or laboratory environment. Some may be performed at a community work site. Work may be performed in any CTC classroom or lab and may also occur at various locations within the community.
EVALUATIONCTC Technicians are evaluated according to current Board policy.
TRAVEL/OVERTIME EXPECTATIONSOvertime would be rare and only at the discretion of the MAISD. Some local travel may be expected.
