The District Continuous Improvement Team (DCIT) leads and facilitates continuous improvement through the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Framework, the Whole Child Model, and the Nine Principles of Organizational Excellence® utilizing the Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process (MICIP). DCIT Leaders ensure that the school creates, implements, and monitors a Continuous Improvement Plan in alignment with the District’s Eagle Strategic Plan. DCIT is also responsible for a variety of State and Federal Program compliance requirements.

• 1. Attend and actively engage in routine meetings at the district and building level to plan, prepare, and implement continuous improvement efforts.
• 2. Ability to lead and facilitate building continuous improvement meetings and efforts while modeling best practice research.
• 3. Attend routine training to develop expertise in MTSS, Whole Child Model, MICIP, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), strategic planning, meeting facilitation, research-based instruction/intervention, and Nine Principles for Organizational Excellence SM.
• 4. Understand and comply with written procedures/protocols governing School and District Continuous Improvement Planning and State and Federal Programs implementation.
• 5. Analyze multiple sources of academic and whole child data to assess district needs and priorities.
• 6. Serve as communication liaison between department/grade level staff and administration.
• 7. Coordinate department/grade level duties including but not limited to preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, and presentations.
