Spring 2027 Semester Engineering Student Co‑Op opening (paid, with housing stipend) – Searching for Engineering student for our plant in Muskegon, Michigan.
Minimum assignment: 3 months. Part‑time employment (20+ hrs/week) for 6 months also qualifies.
Engineering Co‑Op SummarySupport the Engineering team to assist in projects, planned outages and mechanical equipment opportunities.
Essential Functions- Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs to support equipment availability and throughput.
- Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
- Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
- Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
- Assist with Project Engineering duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
- Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.
- Basic knowledge of engineering.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills.
Enrolled and completed 2+ years accredited university in Engineering or similar discipline.
Special Skills- The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Computer proficiency in Windows environment and software tools that support job responsibilities.
