CAD Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to collaborate closely with our engineering and construction departments by processing red-lined drawing updates. You will be responsible for executing modifications within AutoCAD and ensuring all technical documentation is accurately archived in our Autodesk Vault storage system.

• Coordinate with engineering and construction staff to process red-lined drawing revisions.
• Execute updates to existing drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Maintain organized records by following established protocols for storing files in Autodesk Vault.
• Support the development of conceptual designs by creating necessary engineering drawings.
• Produce and revise sketches, contract documents, and working drawings through CAD applications.
• Develop 2D and 3D models to assist in project visualization.
• Generate comprehensive documentation to support various design drawings.

• Possess a two-year technical degree or an equivalent professional certification.
• Demonstrate prior experience in the preparation of facility engineering drawings.
• Show proven proficiency in utilizing CAD or related design software tools.
• Ensure project accuracy by reading and interpreting complex customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specs.
• Apply knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, and core concepts to daily tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to help ensure project specifications are met.
• Utilize experience with specific design applications currently employed by the team.
