Assistant Plant Controller

This role partners with the Plant Controller to support financial planning, reporting, and business performance for the site. The position plays a key role in analyzing plant metrics, strengthening internal controls, supporting forecasting and planning, and driving continuous business improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to drive improvements in productivity, quality, inventory, and profitability
• Analyze financial and operational data to support decision-making and performance tracking
• Support daily reporting, monthly forecasting, and annual planning
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Assist with financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
• Support internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Coordinate capital requests and post-project reviews
• Deploy business unit initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Provide financial insights and forecasts to leadership
• Perform other duties as needed; occasional travel may be required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Minimum 5 years of financial experience
• Manufacturing finance experience preferred
• Cost accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
