Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including margin analysis and variance evaluations between forecasts and actual results.
- Execute month-end financial reporting tasks, such as consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly journal entries with a high level of accuracy.
- Manage inventory accounting processes and perform detailed inventory analysis.
- Create and maintain schedules for accounting activities, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued expenses.
- Assist in the development and coordination of annual budgets across all departments in collaboration with the finance team.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Train team members on maintaining standard costs for manufactured goods, including landed costs.
- Support the preparation of three-statement financials, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide training and guidance on creating and maintaining product-related financial data. Requirements - Proficient in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger operations and month-end close processes.
- Experience in accounts payable procedures and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Familiarity with inventory accounting and standard cost methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively on tasks related to financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling complex accounting schedules.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and train team members.
