HGA Support Services is a nonprofit company that has provided support to individuals with developmental disabilities for more than 30 years. HGA Support Services is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our leadership team. The Finance Manager will oversee all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, billing, accounts payable, audits, and financial planning, and provide financial leadership that supports HGA’s mission.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee agency‑wide and program‑specific budgets.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, analyses, and forecasts.
  • Supervise and support Finance Team staff.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, billing, receivables, and cash management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate annual audits and financial reporting requirements.
  • Present financial information and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Assist managers with budget development, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Support strategic planning and long‑term financial goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum three years of accounting and financial management experience.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with HRIS and accounting systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Experience in nonprofit human services, Medicaid‑funded programs, CMH, MSHDA, MDHHS, or similar environments preferred.
