Production Supervisor

A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily plant operations and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role is responsible for directing a unionized workforce, meeting production schedules, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve operational goals
• Schedule labor and production to meet business and customer demands
• Monitor performance metrics; resolve safety, quality, maintenance, and productivity issues
• Promote and enforce EHS standards and safe work practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, Kaizen, and 6S programs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements
• Partner cross-functionally with planning, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams
• Manage staffing levels, time and attendance, performance reviews, and employee development
• Address employee relations matters and handle grievances in a union environment

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Preferred:

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience in a unionized environment
• Background in Lean manufacturing, TPM, Synchronous Manufacturing, or Kaizen
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
