Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Norton Shores seeking experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Operators. Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using various measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and engineering specifications.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms, minor mechanical issues, and program errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain part quality and extend tool life.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and G-code
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Experience with machine setup, tool changes, and offsets

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Esprit CAM software
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
• CMM operation experience
• Familiarity with GD&T principles
