The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation to ensure accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years experience performing calibrations, adjustments, and repairs on various types of measurement and test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents such as schematics, diagrams, and calibration procedures.
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI Z540).
  • Experience with calibration software and asset management systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with precision instrumentation and control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with optical calibration equipment.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments to test equipment.
  • Certified Metrology Technician (CMT) or similar certification.
