Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Core Driller / General Laborer to support our plumbing division on residential and commercial construction projects.
In this role, you’ll assist with concrete core drilling, job site preparation, material handling, and plumbing installations. You’ll work alongside experienced plumbers while gaining valuable hands‑on construction experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a long‑term career in the skilled trades, with opportunities to advance into a Plumbing Apprentice position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with core drilling for plumbing systems, including floor, wall, and foundation penetrations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain core drilling equipment under the direction of experienced personnel.
- Support plumbers with underground, rough‑in, and installation work.
- Measure, mark, and prepare drilling locations using construction plans and field measurements.
- Transport, organize, and stage tools, materials, and equipment.
- Assist with concrete patching and cleanup following drilling operations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Perform other construction labor duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Construction or general labor experience preferred.
- Core drilling or concrete cutting experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Interest in building a career in the plumbing or construction trades.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and safely use hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
