Pinsetter Training and Service Specialist

Job Summary:

The Pinsetter Training & Service Specialist delivers expert on-site technical service, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs for Brunswick bowling equipment, with a primary focus on pinsetters, ball returns, and automatic bumpers. Beyond hands-on maintenance, this role also serves as a pinsetter trainer, traveling to customer centers to conduct comprehensive training schools focused on pinsetter safety, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Acting as a vital technical resource, the Specialist ensures bowling centers operate efficiently while upholding strict safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

In addition, the Specialist will assist in warranty service and service department projects.

Service contracts – Will perform an inspection on GS or String Pin models that comprises an inspection, identification of worn parts or needed adjustments and generate a report of the deficiencies for the customer to review.

Service calls, customer resolution and warranty repairs – The specialist will make defined repairs either on a customer charge basis or as a warranty repair.

Training – Provide onsite training for GS and String Pin models with a focus on working safely. Be able to thoroughly describe and explain the operation, adjustment, and maintenance of the pinsetters.

Other service projects customer support – Provide support to customers, assist with technical support requests, and maintain training documents and procedures.

Minimum Position Qualifications :

Experience Pinsetter Training:
Ability to train on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Brunswick Pinsetter models. Exceptional communication skills, customer service skills and ability to adapt to varying situations.

Electrical/Electronic Knowledge:
Working knowledge of principles of electrical and electronic basics and theories, working knowledge, and troubleshooting basics of board replacement level. Proficient in use of a Volt/Ohm meter.

Mechanical Knowledge:
The ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service Brunswick products. Document, and implement solutions from diagnostic inspections.

Education Level High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of onsite service or 3-5 years of bowling center experience from a technical standpoint. Experience on Brunswick pinsetters preferred.
