Position Overview
Warehouse Associate at Foundation Building Materials (FBM), a leading construction materials distribution company serving both commercial and residential markets in the United States and Canada. In partnership with Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), FBM supports a wide range of construction and architectural projects nationwide.
Warehouse Associates keep operations running smoothly by receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials with precision and pride.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service & Product Knowledge:
Provide service to customers entering the warehouse, maintain a high level of customer focus, and maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size. - Warehouse Operations & Maintenance:
Perform minor building maintenance when necessary; receive, organize, and move incoming materials; allocate and move material to its correct place; maintain packing specifications and make suitable skids/pallets; participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories. - Safety:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements, use proper lifting techniques, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. - Trainings:
Attend and participate in all required company training programs. - Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation; occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day; occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. using proper lifting procedures; additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned. - Miscellaneous:

- Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training.
