Administrative Specialist Agency 740 STATE TREASURER
Location:
Unclaimed Property Office, 3305 Chandler Rd, Muskogee, OK 74403
Salary: up to $40,000.00, based on education and experience
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Full‑time)
- Answering telephone calls on a multi‑line call center
- Greeting and directing guests
- Processing incoming mail and filing documents
- Backing up File Clerks by sorting and delivering mail as needed
- Maintaining onsite file rooms and moving computer equipment
- Making copies and scanning documents
- Handling check deposit processing
- Being present in the office is an essential function
- Other duties as assigned
- Computers, typing, clerical, ten‑key data entry
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Accounting proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of technical clerical, administrative, secretarial, or general office work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- All applicants are subject to a background check and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- If education, certification or licensure is required, applicants must provide documentation at the time of application

- Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and business English
- Business mathematics
- Modern office methods and procedures
- Maintenance of complex records
- Major policies and procedures governing assigned programs
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Capacity to perform confidential work and maintain confidentiality
- Interpret and complete routine matters according to agency policies and procedures
- Follow oral and written instructions
Work is performed in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Duties include talking, standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, carrying light items, and using a computer and telephone for extended periods. Travel may be required occasionally, including overnight and weekend travel.
