Must Haves:

• 3-5 years relevant work experience (with degree in engineering) or 5-10 years of experience (without engineering degree) supporting commercial or federal construction projects

• Proficient in construction means and methods, work sequencing and field operations experience

• Be able to review contract documents (drawings, specifications, contracts) and other project documents (submittals, shop drawings) for constructability and accuracy.

• Be able to facilitate subcontractor, preconstruction meetings, and owner quality management meetings

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite

• Proficient in risk analysis and mitigation, effective written and oral communication, strategic development, and process refinement
Pluses:

• Previous experience working as a QC Manager on similar/relevant projects

• Proficient in software programs used by the project team (e.g., Touchplan, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, etc.)

• Experience/Certification in USACE EM385-1 standards

• USACE certification in Quality Control Management (CQM)

Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking for several Quality Control Managers to support a large general contracting client on several federal projects in Beaufort, SC and Cherry Point, NC and Jacksonville, NC. We are looking for a candidate that is a critical thinker, who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

This candidate would be responsible for developing standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards, identifying potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action and perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings. Lastly, this candidate must be able to build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training, and performance evaluations.
