The RoleWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager who is self‑motivated, performance‑driven, and ready to thrive in a fast‑paced construction environment. You will act as the bridge between our internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution- Direct all phases of mechanical construction, developing project plans and timelines.
- Utilize construction industry tools and techniques to drive project efficiency.
- Adjust workflows dynamically to handle volume changes and evolving scopes of work.
- Manage job cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to maintain profitability.
- Monitor financial health and proactively address variances.
- Serve as the liaison between subcontractors and internal teams.
- Conduct site meetings, inspect work quality, and resolve technical issues on‑site.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Note:
You must have strong knowledge of these items to manage the process, even if not directly overseeing the drafting.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the client.
- Ensure client satisfaction to foster future business opportunities.
- Education/
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR 3+ years of relevant experience. - Industry Knowledge: Preferably 2+ years of strong mechanical knowledge (HVAC, Plumbing, Piping).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in relevant software and technical construction knowledge. - Leadership: Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.
