• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or actively pursuing licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Holder of Comparative Clinical Certification (CCC’s).
• Additional qualifications as determined by client facility.

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients who require treatment for speech, hearing, or language deficits. They teach patients how to produce sounds, improve voice, or enhance oral/written language skills to communicate more effectively. They also educate individuals on strengthening muscles or using compensatory strategies to swallow safely.

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.
