On-Site Service Engineer – Ai Data Center

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-call required)

Overview:
The On-Site Service Engineer will provide hands-on support for data center and server environments, including next-generation AI platforms. This role focuses on maintaining uptime, resolving hardware issues, and delivering high-quality on-site technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support for server and data center systems.
• Perform hardware maintenance including builds, swaps, replacements, and firmware updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues.
• Execute preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
• Document all work and maintain accurate service records.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support extended hours as needed.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in data center, field service, or technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience with server hardware (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, etc.).
• Experience with server deployments and component replacements.
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

• Experience with water-cooled servers.
• Vendor certifications (Dell or similar).
• Experience building PCs.

Additional Requirements:

• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of the work location.
• Must be willing to work on-site, shifts, and on-call as required.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
