The Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and systems. This role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

* Key Responsibilities:

* + Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

+ Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control systems, and mechanical components.

+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.

+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

+ Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Qualifications:

* + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.

+ Minimum 35 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, etc.) and electrical systems (480V, 3-phase, controls, PLCs).

+ Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.

+ Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer skills.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* + Must be able to work in a hot, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.

+ Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as required.
