Recycle Fiber - Pulp Handler

These are entry level positions into the mill through the Pulp Department.

What You Will Do in Your Role:

Operating mobile equipment in a recycle fiber warehouse/ops environment.
Transporting recycle fiber or pulp to production lines and warehouse locations.
Maintaining customer focus with in-house departments.
Understanding and complying with all safety procedures and policies.
Operating equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
Troubleshooting, adjusting and making minor repairs to equipment to maintain production.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

This position will work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule which will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Must be willing to work a 6am-4pm shift Mon thru Thursand possible OTfor training and then a 12-hr. rotating shift schedule including days, nights, and weekends with extended off days.
Ability to work in a hot, cold, dusty and noisy industrial environment.
Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day.
Ability to work in high and/or confined spaces.
Ability to drive or be trained to drive a fork truck.

What Will Put You Ahead

At least one (1) year or more of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or military environment.
Paper manufacturing or converting experience.
Prep recycled fiber bales for processing in the department by removing and disposing of wires.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
