Body Prep Operator - C Shift

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, seeks a Body Prep Operator to support the manufacturing of tile and natural stone products.

• Unload raw materials from railcars and transport to storage bins.
• Load raw materials into the hopper.
• Monitor raw material flow through the ball mill and spray dryers.
• Perform quality control tests to ensure body materials meet specifications and document results.
• Monitor equipment and report problems to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

• Ability to work at heights, requiring fall protection.
• Strong oral communication and basic English proficiency.
• Good listening skills.

The associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The job may involve walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and may sometimes require sitting, climbing, or balancing. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include near vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles is expected.
