Body Prep Operator - B Shift; Nights

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. We are seeking a Body Prep Operator to join our Manufacturing Team.

Monitors flow of raw materials through the body prep process.

• Unload raw materials from railcar and transport to storage bins.
• Load raw materials into hopper.
• Monitor flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Perform various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and document results.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

• Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
