BODY PREP OPERATOR - B SHIFT (NIGHTS)
Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States.
We invite dedicated professionals to join our manufacturing team. The role involves loading and unloading raw materials, monitoring production flow, and performing quality control checks.
Primary Responsibilities- Unload raw materials from railcar and transport them to storage bins.
- Load raw materials into the hopper.
- Monitor flow of material through the ball mill and into spray dryers.
- Perform tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and document results.
- Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures, keeping the area safe, clean, and organized.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience working at a height requiring fall protection.
- Good oral and listening communication skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Regular standing, use of hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and loud noise levels may occur.
