Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Glaze Line Operator, we need someone to operate the glaze line and inspect tile to produce the ceramic tile manufacturing process.

• Operates the glaze line and inspects tile.

• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Manufacturing/production experience.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

• Requires standing, using hands, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing or balancing, sitting.
• May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires close and peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, wide range of temperatures, and loud noise.
