Job Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care
Shift: Nights
Shift Details: Flexible on nights | 1:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Must be available every other weekend
The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. The RN is responsible for monitoring and evaluating patient functional status and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Utilizes the nursing process for assigned patients
- Completes assessments and individualizes care plans
- Provides culturally competent care considering psychosocial and age-specific needs
- Organizes and prioritizes nursing responsibilities effectively
- Anticipates patient and unit needs
- Demonstrates strong bio-psychosocial knowledge base
- Delegates and communicates appropriately
- Exercises professional judgment in dynamic clinical situations
- Documents care accurately, concisely, and in compliance with standards
- Facilitates patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams
- Supports performance improvement initiatives
- Completes required education and in-services
- Submits accurate variance reports
- 0–6 months of related nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Knowledge of disease management processes and clinical pathways
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload efficiently
- Detail-oriented with clinical and numerical data
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing approved by a state board of nursing
- Holds or is eligible to hold a nursing diploma or degree
- Valid Multi-State or State of Oklahoma RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
