Registered Nurse PCU

Full‑time night shift Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit, Muskogee Campus. The RN will provide bedside nursing care to patients on a 36‑hour week, 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays per department schedule.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Document nursing steps and use proper medical terminology.
• Address patient problems, progress toward goals, and facilitate discharge with appropriate referrals and education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support unit/hospital goals through continuous improvement and educational activities.
• Coordinate and support activities of others without direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Minimum education:
  
  Complete basic professional curricula of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure:
  Valid multi‑state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Work experience:
  
  0 to 6 months related experience.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  
  Working knowledge of general disease state management, bio‑psychosocial model, clinical pathways, effective communication, organization, prioritization, and detail orientation.

• This position is identified as a safety‑sensitive position per the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.
