Major Duties:

• Provides competent evidence-based specialty care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the clinic setting.
• Provides patient care, care coordination, health promotion, health education and coaching on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic care management.
• Assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization.
• Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic, specialty care through collaborative strategies with others.
• Provides service to patients with acute and/or chronic medical conditions (e.g. pulmonology, infectious disease, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, oncology, endocrinology, and rheumatology for the outpatient population) and surgical (e.g. dermatology/lesion, ENT, ortho, general surgical, vascular, gynecological, and urology for the outpatient population).

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
