The Co Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll, budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional associate and customer service experiences; ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in every interaction.
- Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.
- Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed, and any additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal periods on a regular basis.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
